Fond memories of great times at Fence, near Burnley, in our later school years, with you and John. Always remember you falling off our home made rope tree swing and disappearing into the gully. We weren't sure what we were going to have to tell your mum but then out you popped, a bit battered and bruised but still joking.

Still kept the same zany sense of humour on our all too infrequent meetings in later years, most memorably on our introduction to the Fleet Street pubs on our first visit to London, a new experience for us country bumpkins !
